Kids learn all their language from listening to us. They're not born with words waiting to come out.

So, it makes sense that there's things we can do differently to make it easier for them to learn.

Think about if you had to learn Japanese or French tomorrow - it would be great if your teacher:
🔼 kept phrases short
🔼 went slow and used pauses
🔼 pointed and used gesture as a visual aid
🔼 used lots of repetition

Think about how you typically interact with your little one - do you do these things? It can be worth recording yourself and listening back to see!!
