Your Child will Listen and Learn better when you add a bit of Fun
Never underestimate play.
Play is our kids’ favourite setting. It’s what makes them tick. So when you’re looking to make a transition to another activity or do something you know they typically don’t want to do, that’s your cue to ramp up the fun.
Trust me, it’ll be more enjoyable for both of you than you resorting to ramping up your voice and attitude to scare them into complying.
Remember - we can’t expect the same strategy to work every time. Kids are humans, they have preferences and they still might not want what you’re offering if you’re doing it the same way every time. Mix up your fun, keep it light and you’ll maintain your relationship and your sanity.
