So instead of saying:
The Red Car
The Brown Dog
The Pink Cardigan

Say:
The Car is Red
The Cardigan is Pink
The Dog is Brown

It helps your child understand that its now a ‘Brown Dog’ but the ‘Dog’ is brown.
