If your child is rolling like a crocodile at nappy change time, it's time to dial up the fun.

It's tempting to dial up the sternness - you want to express how important it is that they stay still - you certainly don't want poo everywhere. But being stern is likely going to make the experience worse for the both of you and continue the cycle of difficult changes. In a dream world you BOTH should be looking forward to this time of connection.

What I forgot to mention in this video is the power of changing them side-on (instead of you looking directly at their bum) as it's much better for eye contact and connection. It's worth learning to change this way.
