If you have a toddler who's full of energy and emotion - look no further than play fighting. There are SO MANY benefits.

On an evening, especially when our nearly 4yo is dysregulated, we PLAY FIGHT!

Play fighting (or rough housing) has huge benefits for young children.

It stimulates the parts of therein that control emotional memory, language and logic.

It helps to develop their self control and gives them a way of safety blowing off steam.

It supports social skills as they need to read body language and facial expressions.

It practises risk taking, which is important fo taking the leap to learn new skills.

It supports problem solving skills, as they have to think fast on their feet!

It’s great physical fitness and great for girls and boys.
