Outdoor Painting
Our simple play activity yesterday was some painting. I didn't want to have to worry about a big clean up so we got some warm gears on and headed outdoors. This waterproof suit was perfect for protecting August's clothes whilst we got messy.
I chose a box today because it's a little more durable - I often find that paper gets ripped as we create. We decided it was a special box for Daddy - somewhere to put his @zaziplays packages!!
We use FAS paint - the warehouse sell it. It's none toxic. YES he still likes to eat.some even though he's 2.1. That's just part of exploring! I let him taste it and don't pay it much attention. A bit of paint never killed anyone.
If you're a little hesitant about messy play but know how important it is for development - then outdoors might be just your thing. Tag a parent who doesn't like mess!!
