No rules when it comes to Creativity
No agenda 🤌
There doesn't need to be a learning agenda for our kids to be learning. If theyre playing - they're learning! We just have to embrace the mess and let them explore!
I left my kids with paper, pens, scissors, glue and tape today and just let them do their thing whilst I cleaned. There was no agenda or expectations - and no rules like "you can't tape all the pens together". Because... You can. And they spent aaaaaaaaaages engrossed and working so well as a team.
I didn't interfere - I just responded if they asked of me.
It was such a fab and easy activity to set up.
I feel like freedom with selotape is equivalent to an adult's excitement using a laminator.
Would you be comfortable letting your little ones do this? Let me know in the comments.
