I rarely 'sit' August to play because tummy time is too important to help him to learn to get HIMSELF into a sitting position, but I broke the rules today to give him the opportunity to play in his very own ball pit!

This is just a big storage box from a hardware store. Plonked him in it with the play balls so that they couldn't all roll away from him and he had a blast bashing them and putting them over the edge!

This was a opportunity to talk about colours. I said the colour of the ball that he picked up and of course sang the rainbow song!
