Dipping practice with pancakes
Pancakes are always a winner in my house and they’re AMAZING for exploring new flavours when dipped into things.
We use our dippy chicks and add syrups, jams, chutneys and sauces when we serve pancakes and let the kids do taste testing!!
Easy pancake mix:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg
Method:
Mix well and pour into a hot, flat pan. Flip after a minute or two. Serve to your hungry kiddos with dips aplenty!
You might need to join in to model the dipping action at first - oh dear how sad that you’ll have to eat some delicious pancakes!!
